EDM CASTLES // Entertaining Daily Muses – (Within) The Castle of My Mind
What’s wrong with “cheesy” things? I like bright, colorful, and often corny productions. Whimsical, jolly rancher kind of funk. Can’t have FUNk without fun right? (Thanks, Thundercat! – I’m Drunk) A lot of us are afraid of having fun and that’s where the harm is found. Fun is priceless. You don’t have to buy anything to reach a place of fun. Traveling within your mind brings to light all of those things you can think about and uncover.
I want you to take the moment to visualize yourself sleeping in the bed in the morning. The sun is nearly up and you’re relaxed in your bed in some distant or near REM Sleep. Then you start to hear from your bedroom window the sound of someone sweeping off their sidewalk with gentle strokes of their broom. Imagine this same scenario with you asleep but instead hearing a gas powered lawn mower as your morning bells? What sounds more like jazz to you? Or do you prefer rock music? Would the sound of loud gas tools act as an alarm to you? Thereby giving you the shock of awareness? How would you identify with the way it made you react? Was it all on purpose or was this an accident you had the (un)fortunate encounter by chance?
Entertaining those daily muses are just examples of getting lost in your mind and having fun while doing it. It starts as an idea and then it gets more obtuse till eventually, you wonder if you’ve gone mad. I think the opposite is true – the less we entertain our imagination the more controlled and dictated we are.
Life has a way of planting seeds around you-you may forget where those seeds were planted but they sprout out in time. There’s an abundance of flowers and weeds in the garden of your everyday experience.
Animations of superficial reality connected with suspense all have a playground in your EDM CASTLE.
WARNING: Things are gonna get wilder and phased by the innuendo and crescent stars. Have you found my keys? Oh never mind – I hear them connected to the script of never do I know what you talking about. Have you ever paid attention to how we receive information up close? Giving what you love is what is written on your smile. The freedom to explore those unconventional areas is what makes you dope. Have fun getting lost cuz home is where th3 adventure is.
Here’s a tip for the hip // dancing with the devil is sometimes fun because the party is in the moonlight. It’s not always what it seems or looks like it can be. Inside every soul is a treasure to be found, light to be illuminated and shared. Whenever you are able to give – give with honest delivery. Don’t worry too much about what you stumble on. Dip your whip!
If you steer too far right you eventually gonna get left. Stay in your lane and don’t spare too many of your pennies on the counter. When all is summarized – everything is gonna need to be accounted for. To every cent that is gained- it is measured a collective sum. It all counts, homie! Put every ounce of your passion in conveying the message to the heart. What you say carries merit. These words mean something and the demonstration of them are the essences of honesty.
What you say is recorded, what you do is embedded in the memories of your selection. Be on the look out. Draw your vision and dream boards. Plan ahead and do your thing! Like sewing, a button on a shirt…everything goes in and goes out…..
I’m gonna weave in and weave out. All while remaining present in my spelling and posture of delivery. I’m gonna be cool and own the space around me. Not finding too much closure in the loose ends but enough to be fitted in the time of my arrival. I’m gonna look into the eyes of those who I transfer a message and understand the writing on the walls. I won’t be plagued by the seemingly impossible but brought to light by reality.
I’m gonna come around the corner and jump the block. Nothing is gonna stop my determination because integrity in myself is fueling my acceleration. In and out. Stop and finish. A game that the two of us can play if we learn to be cool. Cool is not sweating the phases of life in whatever way they show. You know, weave in and weave out.YES
I have read many books and have looked at too much recent history, to think this country was ever really great. // The origin of this country is really nationalistic for barbaric reasons. Slavery, Genocide, and capitalism. These things have been so normal to me – sometimes I have to remind myself I am actually living in a place TAKEN from Native Americans. Slaves (some are actually in my bloodlines) worked day in and day out and DID not get paid for their labor. We were instead raped, isolated, cut off from our families, and indoctrinated to believe “slaves were to obey their masters”. We were not actually considered human beings under law. While these things seem so long ago they aren’t and we are still living through the trauma of these atrocities. So no. I can’t think this country is great when the numbers speak for themselves. Reading the story connects the reality why my face curves when people talk about THIS GREAT COUNTRY. 😀
