Yes To You (Welcome To My Patreon!)

Yes To You (Welcome To My Patreon!)

Sometimes, you like someone enough to say YES! Yes, I affirm enough about you because you have something I can use to my advantage. It can inspire and help, so YES! This is what each creator intends to accomplish on some level to receive a YES! (If they’re merely creating with the intention to make money on a project) The affirmative response provides motivation for the creator to keep creating. If you can just give me a yes, that may mean you’ll damn me to your personal hell. Maybe if you can add an ‘O’ to hell – then maybe this can ignite a formal greeting?

HELLO!

I got something to say and some of you may know me or others may not know. I use to feel hesitant about explaining what it is I do. I’ve been doing a lot of creative projects since 2009 when I launched my first YouTube channel. Primarily, I’ve made various videos and essays surrounding Entertainment culture including but not limited to my album discussions of Prince and Michael Jackson. I’ve since deleted those videos because through my creative evolution, I’ve come to the conclusion I’m not a reporter or critic! 😀

While I can report and contrast various variables to one another, it’s not what I ultimately want to say. Alongside those videos, I made other videos that were poetic of politically charged. It’s always depended on the mood of my mind. My writings have maintained the platform to convert into anything from songs, videos, and narration. The more I write the more I become focused on what it is – I want to deliver. I’ve kept a journal since I learned how to write and it’s been my faithful companion.

SO – WHAT IS MY AIM?

I have a tendency of being all over the place *hence the deranged*. (Whenever I am conceptual and clairvoyant it’s opposite of Deranged – Uniform). I am both. Clear and Direct while also enjoying the shade of the shadows and random, but aren’t we all? I write through the persuasion of love, hate, misunderstanding or essentially anything that rests on the surface. I’m your fellow sponge that receives any and everything – which is why I have to be careful about anything. An argument might become a poem and your attitude might become a character in my next novel!

Now I want to welcome you to support what I do by subscribing to my patreon! I have 5 tiers of payment. 1$ 3$,7$,14$,21$. Your card is charged at the end of the month. A Relic In The Ocean

A Relic In The Ocean

A life can be tossed or rolled down the hill
When it reaches the concrete ground – is there life still?
After being pressed and torn up without a single care
After all of that destruction, is this even fair?
By the time it’s all said and done – nobody has won
Love and hate is already inside of the gun
No one seems willing to pull the trigger
Fear starts to grow stronger and BIGGER
The fetus position is invited for a safer swallow
There they began minimizing themselves in a paper like hollow
When troubles aim to roll us up like a fat blunt
Are we still backing up our integrity from the front?
Historians have written down this story for you to read
It’s up to you to make life a good deed
Or this can simply be another relic in the ocean
A story hardly capable of stirring motion.

What’s gained is lost.

By the measures of reduction via conversion. You can’t have a proper conversation without some kind of reduction.

Don’t let this dismay or upset you.
Life is also about the giving and the taking. Basically: you gotta pay da bills.

I know – crazy right? You got to work to survive on a planet you didn’t even ask to be in. That’s a reason to be upset sometimes.

The less you have the more is expected to be given.

Society tends to be stupid. Yeah, I think you know that by now but it’s stupider than you think. Society forces you to talk when silence is needed.

You can’t do anything that is validated anymore because if your audience reach is everyone – you’ll certainly disappoint someone.

Hence the stupidity of society – you get framed when you ain’t even the picture. You won’t be able to please everyone because some people require different lengths of a garment for what’s fitted.

If you do it – it’s a REACH. If you don’t do it – you missed the opportunity to cash in. So either way // What’s gained is lost. The flow of what’s good comes at a cost.

How well are you counting the steps to what’s gonna turn into a disaster?

It’s only a matter of time before it all hits a landslide. Then BAM – you gotta deal with the explosive manifesto.

LIFE COMES AT YOU FAST!

You can burn with the fire of the sun and drown in the water of life. Before the alarm goes off you have to make sure you’re prepared. I’m doing what I have to do so I’ll arrive on time. This doesn’t stop, parallel winds that confuse you and aim to confiscate your jewelry and chains.

Before you know it, you’re left penniless and homeless.

No place to go only hopeful dreams to fill the void in your head. If only you invested your last change – your wallet would be fat and your cards stacked. The course of life left you with only the leaves of spring.

The wind remains a charm to your destination. Like a bag in the air- you’ll fly away with a random gust of navigation. The atom then splits and the party invites you to come and groove.

I’m cool on that as long as I don’t buy into thoughts that I can’t compensate. Beyond the light – we all ache to compensate for the darkness we have not yet found.

This darkness is within us and we can’t escape the pull of its fierce reality.

From the sadness of childhood contemplation, we then reach inside our souls. These tears are found within the wishing well of our remembrance. For we can not neglect the motions that have brought conviction to the current.

Waves are set and have boarded in a resistance that must be awakened. For sleeping in the dream is an alarm to our subconscious. It’s no wonder why we react because our childhood has been tortured.

The passages of neglect have been misplaced on the shelf. A book like this is to be remembered and the mirror shows us our deepest revelations. Honest trees are in our garden and those seeds were planted decades before.

The wind blows against the branches and when the moonlight shines – the darkness returns. Only to be remembered by a shadow cast by the dim light upon the roots.

Don’t you deny it – comment and like what you see cuz this view ain’t gonna come back again.

This new thing is sexy and got all the numbers you been desiring. The idea is to be on top and to stomp on those at the bottom. Them bottom feeders can’t taste the honey I’m cashing.

I hit the lotto and only a few will get checked!!

These coins are spent through mere luxury. Diamonds on my neck and fingers are to stunt on the haters!

There can’t be any division when the math multiples. I’m only expanding and growing in followers. Everybody is on my page – I can’t keep up but I like it that way.

Take a note from the sound waves up above and remove the waste that populates your face. Get clean and at least pray to get on my level.

How many of us find ourselves in this position? 😀

Scrolling up to find purpose in the *knew* news. We look forwards to the fantasy. The touch of an impending story. We escape through the unreal or at least distorted promises of what we want.

We binge on the fantasy. It’s for fun cuz it’s a quick thrill.  It gives us a record of holy moments to relive when we forget to write it down.

This is a fever that can’t be tamed. We rather stay sick – dying till our last breath. We want that extra visibility. A construct of identification. A sense of belonging. A force to be known even when lost in the familiar.

“I’ll follow you into your life. You’ll surprise me and remind me of what I always knew. Occasionally, you’ll comment on my nature to succeed but I know everyone is laughing silently when I fail. How far can I go without the boring usual? Another like to be recorded without value.”

I’m wild by the wilderness of the usual. The expected comes knocking at my door. Serving the occasional surprise but mostly familiar. Searching for newer things with a hope of inspiration to come quickly. In most cases, life comes at you fast. You are never really prepared for the twists and turns. After all, life is a second away from a life changing experience.

There’s not a lot that authentically surprises me as of late. Even the music that is often suggested to me – just ain’t doing it for me. I try to give it a shot but by the time the beat drops, I’m already bored by it or familiar with the producer. I don’t know if people are just afraid of taking risks or if it’s just easier to produce mass marketed clones? The music industry is dead and while we all knew this by like 2007 – it’s really apparent now.

What we find nowadays is cultural appropriation, mockery, a new reason to get angry, and just everything in between. But – I’m SPENT. I ain’t go no more coins in fleeting mirages and empty grievances. My interest revolves around learning as much as I can from History and strengthening my relationship with math.

When you’ve been given less – you are expected to live out more. It takes hard work. To pull yourself up, you got to work together. Working with the least and the greatest just to remain alive. You got to expand beyond the causes and look at just where your privilege stands. We all got to check ourselves. It can be frustrating getting to the reasons behind what’s ringing.

The true luxury is knowing which ones to decline and which ones to answer.

In other words for the recent regurgitation of social media: ALL in favor say Blahhhh!

(XYZ) Correlation & Causation

(XYZ) Correlation & Causation

You cannot really prove anything. You can only provide evidence or disprove something. What’s considered a fact is only a collection of shreds of evidence that you affirm – which hasn’t been disproved as of yet. It’s important to highlight the word (YET) Cuz when enough time passes – it’ll be evident that what was is no more. The power of yet keeps coming and going and will always be the ultimate decision maker.

The media helps at this – it brings us a bit closer to what’s going on.

People can’t help but get mad when things don’t go how they expected. I consider myself a word scientist. I’m always dissecting and observing the way sentences are heard and the way they are processed in the mind. If you could know before things went south, you’d consider yourself ‘Warned’. For years people around the world have considered this to be ‘Prophecy’ – some human in the wilderness screaming out “Trouble is coming – get Yo house in order” most people wouldn’t consider this person as anything other than crazy.

I remember growing up – there was a lady who lived on the corner of our street who we nicknamed “The Junk-lady house” understandably so because her house was filled with weeds and she has several cats gathered around her house. I remember once I had to confront her because a piece of mail came to our house instead of her house. No one in my family wanted to send it over but me being the curious one decided to take the challenge. I remember running up to her door to only knock on her door very loudly. I was nervous because I felt something would come out and bite me! After about 5 seconds I decided to run away only leaving the package on the doorstep. She eventually opened the door and said why are you running away? Come in – I promise nothing will come to get you.

Turns out, she was a sweet woman named ‘Ookie’ she said the best way to remember her was her name was like a cookie – but without the C in front of it. She always would cut people’s grass for free and offer her services. Under one condition – you had to hear her talk about environmental causes. That’s all she talked about. How the planet is going to waste because we cut down too many trees which give us energy.

Last time I heard anything from her was while watching ‘Hoarders’ she was in this episode and I nearly freaked out because I remembered her. At any rate – she had a point. The world was suffering but everyone around the world only knew her as the crazy woman who had a junky house.

Nonetheless, we are warned. Whether we listen to this or not – doesn’t change the fact people gonna complain about not being prepared enough.

So many people arrive in various peculiar beliefs because they piece together things based on how it correlates with something else.

However, Let it be known:

Correlation does not show causation.

This is one of the number one things people get wrong over and over.

“Studies show that MRI scans of people who watch porn display HEAVY BRAIN DAMAGE, see this means, porn damages your brain!”

“Increases in snowballs being sold in the summer are strongly correlated with drowning accidents. See, Jesse you better stop eating snow cones or you risk drowning.

Correlation does not result in direct causation.

This is also a time where we focus so much on what is agreed. You can have a conversation filled with extreme passion and once a point has been made someone at the end of it will sometimes say:

“Well, I don’t agree”

Well, I don’t make statements to validate who’s in my amen corner. Inform me of your Y’s in contrast to my X’s. It’s cool.

We have this absurd obsession with getting people to agree with our said beliefs.

I wrote about this before on Facebook but I’ll say it again here:

In psychology, there’s a concept called “confirmation bias,” where people only accept evidence of things that already confirm what they believe. Researchers have been studying this for years and I can testify as of late, how real that shit is. Have you ever factored in what makes you believe what you validated for years? The more you check yourself on EVERYTHING (Yes, it’s a process but well worth it – There’s no graduation involved) you’ll begin to pull at your own line of questioning. A lot of this will be heartbreaking but hilariously enlightening.

In the absence of evidence from proponents of existence, there is exactly zero reason to subscribe to an implausible belief for which its proponents offer exactly zero valid support.

Proximity is close enough to the truth.

The truth of an experience, the truth of right around the corner, the truth cuz it might just happen to me.

How many times have you heard that? “It COULD HAVE BEEN ME!” Well,  maybe if the variations were the same but come on. 😛

Be aware of how you counter this illusion.

Next time (XYZ) which is to assume the same variables at play now will happen again. Well, it won’t. Probability says – the results that occurred now will occur again but that’s likely not to happen.

We often like to think, if we were to make one minor change in our direction then the whole outcome will be differently. This is true to a degree, but slight changes are just as monumental as BIG changes. You can’t run out of lengths when widths are maximized.

This reminds me of the scene from ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’

“When the package was wrapped, the woman, who was back in the cab, was blocked by a delivery truck, all the while Daisy was gettin’ dressed. The delivery truck pulled away and the taxi was able to move, while Daisy, last to be dressed, waited for one of her friends, who had broken a shoelace. While the taxi was stopped, waitin’ for a traffic light, Daisy and her friend came out the back of the theater. And if only one thing had happened differently; if that shoelace hadn’t broken; or that delivery truck had moved moments earlier; or that package had been wrapped and ready, because the girl hadn’t broken up with her boyfriend; or that man had set his alarm and got up five minutes later; or that taxi driver hadn’t stopped for a cup of coffee; or that woman had remembered her coat, and got into an earlier cab, Daisy and her friend would’ve crossed the street, and the taxi would’ve driven by.”

Just those subtle changes make a whole lot of difference. However – it’s been made. It happened in the way it did – if only we could think of what we do before we do it – if math could be reversed?

Pain Heartbreak Then You Read

photo-feb-06-11-48-15-pm

I have read many books and have looked at too much recent history, to think this country was ever really great. // The origin of this country is really nationalistic for barbaric reasons. Slavery, Genocide, and capitalism. These things have been so normal to me – sometimes I have to remind myself I am actually living in a place TAKEN from Native Americans. Slaves (some are actually in my bloodlines) worked day in and day out and DID not get paid for their labor. We were instead raped, isolated, cut off from our families, and indoctrinated to believe “slaves were to obey their masters”. We were not actually considered human beings under law. While these things seem so long ago they aren’t and we are still living through the trauma of these atrocities. So no. I can’t think this country is great when the numbers speak for themselves. Reading the story connects the reality why my face curves when people talk about THIS GREAT COUNTRY. 😀

John Horse & Osceola

What is the likelihood you have heard of John Horse, and the Black Seminoles? The first rebels to beat American Slavery? Chances are very low because it seems U.S History is always separated into Native American History, and Black Slavery History, but what happened with The Black Seminoles, and Native Americans is quite a beautiful one.

Through the warrior Osceola and John Horse, Revolution was redeemed.  A mixed society in the Everglades (Currently Florida) emerged. Inhabited predominately by runaway slaves and the Seminoles. It was in fact, the FIRST legally free Black sanctioned town was in The Everglades. They achieved this freedom with the promise of the Spanish Crown. They offered freedom if they would defend the land for the crown, the Spanish. Honor and respect to John Horse and Osceola.

IMG_20150203_172621

NOT everyone stayed with the oppression of the White Slave Masters. Of course, they were met with resistance, because the structure of white supremacy was built to really chain anyone who isn’t white. 1818, under James Monroe’s Administration, General Andrew Jackson invaded Florida, (Unauthorized of course) and he claimed it for the United States. Killed anyone who disagreed, and ultimately seized the lands that were had Black Seminoles.

In 1838 – They agreed to stop fighting the leaders in exchange for moving into what was then Indian Territory (currently Oklahoma) and for legal recognition of their freedom. It was granted to them but only until for a decade. 1848, a document declared, they never had the freedom. There was never a written declaration of freedom.
Seminole Leader, Osceola, and John Horse paved an incredible way for those who waited for freedom. Studying them has deeply opened my eyes to rich systemic practice that we see today. It’s not the same, but the evolution and ways in which it adopted is quite the punishment nonetheless. Yet we have reminders in history, looking back at those who have unlocked passages of freedom. We can be our own freedom writers.

The Tao of Pimpin’ By Blue!

TaoBluePimpin

Well, damn!

That’s been my reaction after reading the wealth of knowledge engrained in the book ‘The Tao of Pimpin’

It’s interesting how, I met Blue (The Author and pimp herself) It was through a post shared by a mutual friend of ours, Jamilah. I noticed her posts, and she always seemed to make me laugh and think. However, it was her social conscious delivery that made me realize too. She had songs like ‘Don’t Get Your Ass Beat By The Police’ which still, remains one of my favorite jams even now. From then on, we kept in conversation through Facebook and her website.

When I realized she was writing this book, I did not think twice about putting my order in! A couple of days later, I picked it up and I was simply overwhelmed by the knowledge in this book. It’s not the most important if you read it from Z to A or some letter in between — the point is the same. ‘It’s Pimping Baby’

If you’re looking to determine some secret formula to pimping, you’ve already forgotten the Dynamic process.

Throughout the book, you are minded of this process.

Pimps, Ho’s, Hustlers, Scallywags, Outlaws, and pigs are apart of this process.

You must be wise and discover, Real Pimping’ is when you overstand. Real talk.

Real Pimping.

Through the passages of this book, I’ve been aware of the system of pimping in my own walk. She brought out a wealth of points which are revealed through your everyday living.

I recommend this book, to the youth! Everybody needs a closer examination of a system that has been in existence since the genesis.

Pimpin’ has been around longer than you imagine. Look beyond the cane, rag, and cup. Your inner pimp is reminded through the code of this book, how to thrive in the midst of everyone else.

She sheds light on how to respond to everyone. The wit in this book is unbearable. It makes you literally THINK, but it is given in such a way a child can understand.

Literally imperative, by the notion that it keeps you awaken to your inner pimp. Everyone has this pimp, dying to be fed. Here is the letter, and spirit, in which she delivers these formations. Her knowledge is understood, with no contradiction, but with the marriage of essence.

IN light of my appreciation of this book, here are 7 of my favorite quotes which have helped my next steps.

“Real Pimpin’ is like water. Water don’t fight. Water don’t flee. Water don’t compete with the powers that be. Water don’t need no music. Water don’t need no pro’s. Water flows where no one goes. Water is subject to the way. The How. Water stays at peace with the Tao.”

“Hos never ho by force. Hos ho by choice. When a ho chooses a pimp, a ho made a ho decision. If a pimp uses force to get a ho, then the pimp doesn’t have a ho. The pimp has a slave and slavery is a violation of the 13th amendment of the United States Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights declared by The General Assembly of The United Nations.”

“Stay cool. Let all things take their course. If a  pimp isn’t holding on, a pimp has no attachments and therefore, has nothing to lose. So why force things? Why resist?”

“Fear is the greatest illusion know to human beings. When people get scared, they start preparing to defend themselves; searching for a fight. There’s no greater  violation of our oneness than the preparation to fight one another”

“A wise pimp won’t brag or boast, yet still receives due credit. she doesn’t celebrate her work, so she has no need to self edit.”

“Real Pimpin’ has no agenda. She thinks with the people, loving the lover and the haters. She’s kind to the good, and she’s kind to the bad. she trusts, everyone, whether they deserve it or not.”

WONDERING WHAT THE TAO IS?

“The Tao has no definition. You can define other things in terms of the Tao but you cannot define the Tao in terms of anything else. To define The Tao, you would have to define it in terms of itself. That’s like defining “Consciousness” using  “Consciousness” in that definition, At best, you just said what you said, but you ain’t said shit for real.”

So, I encourage you all to find the passion and lesson in this book! You can order right here!YOU WILL NOT BE MISLED, BUT FOUND.
