HOW TO HARVEST THE STATIC

HOW TO HARVEST THE STATIC

I was talking to one of my good friends about my poetry and he started laughing at the thought of some random person reading “hOw To hArVeSt tHe StAtIc“. I couldn’t stop laughing because it’s true. I often come up with the most random titles and I don’t imagine a huge crowd gathering around to bother to understand what I’m saying. It’s a niche market and certainly, some people may find out these things by happenstance. I couldn’t even pretend a huge amount of people would find what I do interesting. Most people tune into the language of opinions that they favor most.

I do try to tag and promote myself accordingly *to help with exposure* but the chances of me getting lost on the web are tremendous. People have a list of many channels in their view. You turn the channel if whatever is on doesn’t provide a source of humor or education. One day you may tune into my channel and hopefully, I’ll have you at the right time. The power of click-bait media transforms who are more willing to watch. It works because people are more prone to watch and listen to something they agree with or are interested in. This is to my disadvantage, however, as I am not fully aware of the tools that can be catchy enough to get people to watch me.

There’s a lot of static going on in my brain. I’ve been reading and listening more to reach a center. We’re all busy and there is always something on our radar – so consider harvesting the static. Gather the silence and who knows, maybe you may liberate yourself from a whirlwind of distractions. It’s often in the distractions, where we find purpose at the center. The roads we didn’t intend, all measure to the exact place we were destined to be. (Sometimes you can accidentally tune in and who knows…)  I can say more, but that’s why I made this video.

The Performance.

The Performance.

What you gonna do now? Keep talking?

What about walking?

Are your shoes tied? What’s happening? Did you get in shape before the match? What about drinking your water? Did you lift your weights? Are all of your tools prepared? Did you remember to bring your wallet? Your handkerchief? What about any magic beads?

I’m asking these questions cause I wanna make sure you’re prepared. Consider me the performance coach. Are you ready for the performance? Are you gonna get on stage and run away OR are you show everybody that paid a ticket they’re gonna get their monies worth?

You ain’t gonna let them down. You have bought into the lightning and now you’re on fire!

But don’t burn too much, otherwise, you’re gonna suffocate everyone in the room! 😀

Fire burns quickly and smoke sends the signal to the alarm.

Your burning is largely due to nerves.

So you feel nervous?

Ever paid for something with the expectation that it was gonna show you out? When you couldn’t look forwards to eating it because you knew it was gonna rock your world!? Remember tasting it and getting disappointed? Being let down – disturbs the peace but everything is still in harmony when you believe in your work.

We all got faults we can work out on but to get bummed out is a part of the process.

HOWEVER // Make it plain. Expect the sudden interruptions of life and follow the signs. Get there. Polish your breaks. Even when you feel you are about to skew away from the path.

Are you afraid people might see you stumble? Maybe you gonna fall on your ass and embarrass yourself? Well, that’s awkward picking yourself back up right after you tripped on a non-existent banana.

You ain’t the only one tripping, tho.

The performance is the trip itself.

Personality Blankets

Personality Blankets

“If you’re like me then…”

But I’m not like you.

“If I were you, I’d do….”

But I’m not you.

How well can one decipher the truth from the bullshit? You ain’t me and I’m not you. That’s a blessing. Cause I don’t know what leads you to your destination. What’s leading me down this road might make you want to gag.

Listen to yourself but listen to others when you get a chance…. *When they stop talking*

You can learn from the beast of the flower. That monster under your bed may just be inviting you to a bouquet of roses.

Ever talked to someone and before they break news to you – they start by saying: “How can I put this?”

They have this picture in their head. The landscape is clear. Pixels are set. The only thing that’s left now is the picture frame. How do I put this on your wall?

Who’s to say I even want this on my wall? The colors are too odd. Have you looked at all of the other paintings on my wall? Never mind what I like – you just gonna frame the picture and put it out there huh?

Framing pictures are ideal for the picture. Don’t even worry about the frame – just give me the picture and I’ll frame it the way it rhymes with the room. Honesty goes a long way and the picture is as honest to the instruments you used to form it.

I’m quite amazed at what one accepts as reality. Yes, reality has a lot to do with acceptance. Did you know your brain chooses to ignore your nose on the day to day? If you want to *sort of* see your nose, you can call attention to it. That’s the day to day, life at large, your room can be covered with sticky notes – and you can still forget to take out the trash.

Now forgetting to take out the trash will call you by your nose. Something’s come with an essence and you can’t deny it’s power. Otherwise, the funk will call you by your name.

We eventually end up getting to things that need to be done. Priority is decreed by the scheduling of necessity. What’s important to you – may not be important to me at *this* particular time.

Time got everybody confused.
Even Albert Einstein couldn’t quite figure it out. Although he was closer to achieving understanding.

Life as we know it is fickle. It’s there but then it isn’t. Take advantage of this moment. Don’t let it die out in the memories passed. Where regret lives. There is nothing new under the sun, and the moon has seen many festivals. The stars are grand and shine on in the midnight sky.

When the code captures our personality – we cover ourselves.
When the temperature goes down, if you ain’t careful you can freeze into a past state of mind. All of us at some point are gonna cover ourselves with a blanket.

What lies underneath these blankets are the statements, the letters, The symbols, the numbers, the etc, etc.

Whoever you are, however you decide to cover yourself – don’t be afraid of the code. Yours is unique to you. There’s joy in that.

A New Narrative of Consumption

A New Narrative of Consumption

I’ll have a plate of non-tradition, and a cup filled with refreshing delights sprinkled with passion!

The more the merrier!

May my bowl be FILLED with sweet truths.

Don’t spare the flavor lilies as I want plenty of positive vibes for refreshments.

This feast must have the finest of humorous wine.

The freshest greens of delight, where growth happens at a balanced pace.

Being filled with the food of tasty peace in my belly will energize a new narrative of consumption.

We can feed on the nourishment of graceful intentions, by simply requesting our desires.
