Mind's Eye Thinking...Into Paradise Clarity

Glory Story

getting business half done is what gets us in trouble. for we should be on the move! life carries on whether we choose to caress it or not. i think it wise to be more tender to these ‘fleeting’ moments. we are swirling around other planets in this great connected yet a seemingly unconnected world of ours.

the earth is so large that our comprehension of it is very limited. the further you go out from it, you have to come back into it. the more water you drink the more you have to urinate. the more you talk…the more you need to shut up and listen. the more you know, the less you really do. everyone joins in this contradiction no matter how divorced we may seem from this reality. what is obvious to me is usually not obvious to you.

“ISN’T IT OBVIOUS THAT OBVIOUSLY, WE ARE OBLIVIOUS TO THE OBVIOUS?”

how do you get your information? does your media follow a consistent bias? does the truth matter? I’m among the first to admit, anytime i hear someone talk about ‘The Truth’ i start to see pyramid schemes and the many ways this ‘truth’ can be soiled through the exploitation of beli3f. if there is a ladder to successs, surely some are stepped on with no regard to their life. we’d like to believe the world is better than this that WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS.

all media is designed to program you and change the way you think. the internet influences through reaction and emotive dissonance. when we apply reason and detective like tendencies, we can recognize the patterns. all the while remembering: THE WORLD IS LARGE AND WE CARE MOSTLY IN THE ORDER OF OUR PROXIMITY TO CONVENIENCE.

did you hear the news?!

the gardner’s in green valley had their greatest harvest yet and the people of the city were given bags of harvest! isn’t that lovely? yeah but mostly for those in green valley. “i live in orange tunnel lake and we haven’t had a drop of rain since last november!!!”

i encourage the sharing of miscellaneous cotton candy (happiness) after all, some sweets are worth melting into the mouth. whether people are interested enough to share in your pleasures is anyone’s guess. this brings us back to the mass media and how they distribute data.

the mass media is the agency in which your information is received/believed/ processed / shared. what we like is not always indicative of what we know but what we’re feeling at particular moments. these feelings are fleeting and often forgotten until a new one comes around.

historians and anthropologists have tracked the changes in humanity and time and time we see the same habit. same time, same boogie. over and over – time and time again, there’s nothing new under the sun. the philosophers, hairstylists, and comedians all get this.

EVERYONE is arriving at different times and some didn’t eat breakfast. some partied too hard last night. and some got out of bed an hour later than expected! this means….

TRAFFIC JAM!!!

turns may lead to unexpected crashes, curves to implications and unreasonable reactions stemmed from lack of clarity. we can point to a host of reasons why we get things wrong. none of those reasons matter if we don’t seek to solve it. may we align our reactions in a solution based framework. when you feel, this gives a space to reveal the possible keys left, to be turned into doors of service.

the genre of music you like is completely independent to the customizations of society. for the country and hip-hop music fan, they have different tastes. sort of how arugula, has arguably a more peppery taste, than, spinach but when combined, a fascinating thing happens. a collision of nonsensical jargon that can’t meet up to the ladder of glory but there remains a story! for this reason, we carry on!

ME + YOU = STEW

It ain’t just me. It’s you too, which is enough to make a stew! So here’s what we’re gonna do! We shall cut from the fattest part. I must make sure that it’s not a delayed start. For I aim to rock the people on the dance floor!!!

I’m the DJ – I play a tune correspondent to vibration. The beat sounds like this –

It’s not meaning to be rude but they already judged you before you sat next to them. I saw you from a mile away and it made me stray.

Society has evolved in such a way where no one desires to be wrong. We have the burning need to be right, so much that we never appreciate why we were wrong. A recall of our mistakes leads us in a honest direction. We can then learn how to pick up the pieces.

Think of a student walking into a classroom for the first time only a half-hour late. They may think their classmates are judging them without merit.

You can’t always tell what people are thinking. Sometimes you may get a glimpse of their thoughts through body language. Look at their faces !

🤨🥴😐

Daisy had on a yellow shirt and it made her look like a block of cheese.

I didn’t tell her though because I feared she would take offense to my cheesy comment.

Mark had on a spotty brown shirt, which made him look like a cousin to dirt.

Does that make it an even bet, that Mark is looking at me along with Daisy?

🧐

Where does the river of technicolor paranoia lead? Are we all missing and dissing each other? Are our thoughts leading up the street and around the corner to nowhere?

.

It’s all leading somewhere. When you see the interconnection between all of nothing and everything. There is great confusion in what is and what isn’t.

It would appear that most concepts have an agenda. There’s a code to unlock and an order to follow. Like a stew that makes due out of everything collected.

Me & You? Yeah we got work to do!

What is Sin?

There’s a lot that’s been said about ‘Sin’. I heard so much about it growing up. Haven’t we all? Sin has the reputation for being that thing that disappoints g-d. Transgression. When you bypass the law in favor of responding to the lusts of your flesh. With this song, I wanted to challenge the typical core beliefs surrounding sin. What makes some things sinful while other things are just tradition?

So much of sin is made up of the things we consider taboo.  A lot of people are afraid of doing what they wanna do because of the punitive punishment that has been attached to their desires. This is most common if you were raised in a strict religious and or dogmatic environment.  I came up with the idea for this song after writing about sin and the power it had on my life for so while as a Christian. I was always curious about sin and the nature of its influence in my life.

This was a teaching moment to me upon my awareness of growth and desire and hopefully, you may find this useful in navigating your life. If you listen at the end of this song, Stanley Wrinkles comes in to deliver an important message. Who is this, Stanley Wrinkles some might ask?

Stanley Wrinkles is a character I came up with back in 2005 not long after Hurricane Katrina took my family to Texas. He’s a preacher that is passionate about Jesus and sharing the message of the truth. Whether prayer, preaching or talking – he’s always passionately sharing in some way or another.

AND NOW THERE’S DESSERT #1!

My Homie Jeremy Garner was the mastermind behind the production of this track! I remember when he first sent this to me and how amazed I was how fast it came together. The rock metal edge really gives this song a kick and really just stands in your face and sends bones down your spine.

Take a listen and please do enjoy and share with me what you think?

Remember – On YouTube is where to find me and Jeremy Garner’s Latest Collaborations!

(This song is the first serving of dessert shared on August Feels Like Wednesday )

Cursed Belonging

Cursed be the memory that led me to you – it was an illusion

A trick of the mind which entered me like a toxic pollution

The pollinated air and well-trained disguise guided me by making me adaptive

Those allergies produced a cough and itch that’s prisoned me captive

How could I ever resist that infallible rose

A token of blossom laced with the protection of the thorns which are clothes

I’m cut by the tender clinch

Reminded yet again that everything we hold requires us not to flinch

A forged experience completely entwined by a complex tribe

If we only listened to the call of the shadows – Would this still be a bribe?

Now, I’m like a ghost wishing to belong to a world opposite of the dream

Steady longing for those sketches of empty frames which scream

Envisioning to be filled yet again with color and personality

The curse of belonging is a memory from the heart of commonality but not factuality

How To Unlock Caterpillar Logic

Growing up in New Orleans for me was a privilege, that I don’t take for granted in my childhood. It meant good food, lively music, snowballs, and a rich culture. It also meant around spring time caterpillars would hang from my grandparents oak trees!

I dreaded caterpillars because they were very thick and sticky. There was often a host of caterpillars all crammed together like a pack of sardines. April and May, in particular, meant caterpillars would be everywhere from the sidewalks, bushes, and my grandmother’s porch. This did not mean much to my grandfather when he’d want assistance in cleaning the sidewalk.

“Come on out here boy, this sidewalk won’t brush itself!!” He’d yell.

“But he’s hysterical of those caterpillars!” Gammie would plead!

I’m thankful my Gammie always had my back and considered how I felt! It is through her care and concern, I never had to help my pops clean around outside during the spring! Luckily, I had a brother who didn’t mind as much! 😀

I never shook my fear of them until I left New Orleans. I didn’t see them at all in Texas although I noticed on occasion, I’d catch small moths and butterflies. I’ve grown to appreciate the caterpillar because of its developmental changes. I reference their process often in my life. Looking back at how afraid I was, I now see a misguided fear. Was I afraid of growing? Could I soon break free from the cocoon? The more I learned about their process, the more I appreciated their relevance in all living existence.

I made a short video breaking down an allegorical connection between caterpillars and the flow of your ideas!

Characters In The Wind (Remastered)

The Full-Length film ‘Characters In The Wind’ was released in 2016 but now remastered with added bits and pieces in 2018. I was initially, completely hesitant about remastering this but I needed to do it, because of my unsatisfaction on some levels with it originally. I wanted to explain the Jester Eye X – symbol once in for all which debuted at the start of 2016.

Screenshot 2018-07-09 09.11.27

CITW is the short film where conversation, poetry, music, and narration come to manifestation in full. I go all over the place which is represented by the arrows going in various directions.  I did not include an explanation for this originally but now I have while also describing what ‘Happy Forever means.

I’m sure this short film was not watched by many in fact, according to YouTube only 360 people watched it. 😀CITW2016YTMETRICS

Now you have the opportunity to watch it again, 2 years later REMASTERED! I hope you will join in on the conversation with me and enjoy it!

I’m also asking for donations of only $7.33 // or whatever your heart desires in light of completion of this project!

A Relic In The Ocean

A life can be tossed or rolled down the hill
When it reaches the concrete ground – is there life still?
After being pressed and torn up without a single care
After all of that destruction, is this even fair?
By the time it’s all said and done – nobody has won
Love and hate is already inside of the gun
No one seems willing to pull the trigger
Fear starts to grow stronger and BIGGER
The fetus position is invited for a safer swallow
There they began minimizing themselves in a paper like hollow
When troubles aim to roll us up like a fat blunt
Are we still backing up our integrity from the front?
Historians have written down this story for you to read
It’s up to you to make life a good deed
Or this can simply be another relic in the ocean
A story hardly capable of stirring motion.

Reclaiming: They Said

Writing a new thing or an old thing – just as long as the flame can keep me warm. The cold flickering of life’s surprises – are we ever safe from the impending frostbite? The danger that is trapped inside of a cage of our reactions. We can choose to engage – or simply turn the page, the text remains the same morning or night. When troubles come to visit you uninvited – I encourage you to invite it in. It may make you cry or what’s worst – really tear you up inside and create a dark black hole.

I promise it’ll be worth it. You might explore things that aren’t so bad to learn. Mellow in the confusion – bake your cake and share it with someone you love. The heat is on and will soon burn into nothing but smoke. Don’t regret your time – like they say “Reclaim it”. It’s just a couple of long weeks here on earth. Some are spent wisely while others are forgotten like last weeks meal. Remember how good it was then? How much you savored the seasonings paired perfectly with a flask of wine? It was delicious and so is the memory of it – but that’s all it is now.

A forgotten moment stored only by a fraction of your senses. It’s much more – like a light to your mind is a pathway to your desires. When all is said and done – why not run? There’ll be a time you won’t be able to. When you keep on living things just get out of place.

Joints become rusty, pain becomes more practiced. “Use what you got and spend what isn’t yours” that’s what they say. That’s what ends up happening anyway, we are on borrowed tools and land. Truth be told mostly stolen – justice can’t prevail until we acknowledge this. Life is a precious commodity to some but an interesting journey to some. Living and resting. “Take what you can but always remember to leave what no longer suits you.” That’s what they said.

They have said a lot and it doesn’t all have to be in vain or to fall on deaf ears. If we know what they said – then we can live off what it may mean for now. A lot of what is said is based off myths that were created to control behaviors. This isn’t to say we can’t function behind these myths and reach some higher ground. Before you reclaim it – keep in mind some of what has been said was at a different time. The importance of context mustn’t lose its meaning due to how edgy whatever you’re claiming may feel. For example: If you wanna reclaim a concept that has been used to manipulate others – that’s gonna come with various consequences. It’s always better to be aware of the timing of such reclaims!

At any rate: Reclaim what’s yours to use for the service to others. As Maxine says it honestly with no feelings or resolve. It ain’t about offending but knowing what you can do. People have been saying a lot of things since time immortal – why not take back on what was done and remix it to your liking? All the while being aware of origin.

ThEnDance (Sort of Dead)

”The dance at the end
Our memories and genetics – will they transcend?
What’s left of the impact we leave behind?
The matrix of life – does it fully unwind?
How are we then able to know?
When death reveals its face – do we all glow?
The insatiable hope that our actions aren’t in vain
That we’ll find a storage facility in some Human brain
Our lives are all but smoke cast into the air
Wishing to be smelled by the nose of those that dare
A compatible willingness to be remembered by the spices of our scent
Various pictures of our taste set aside as a tent in one’s mind
We all long to be remembered with a nostalgic bind
Experiences, memories, and our written history are the makeup of our lives
The dance floor is where we release – our collective archives”
